Biography
Kei Nakajima, MD, PhD, Fellow of the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, is a professor in the Laboratory of Clinical Medicine and Metabolism, Department of Food and Nutrition, Faculty of Human Sciences and Design, Japan Women's University, Tokyo, Japan, and Endocrinology/Diabetes, Saitama Medical Center, Saitama Medical University. He worked as a hospital resident / professional resident at the National Defense Medical College and a researcher at the University of Chicago. His research interest includes metabolism, obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, clinical nutrition, and epidemiology. He is a councilor of Japanese Society of Clinical Nutrition and Japan Atherosclerosis Society, and a specialist of Japan Society for the Study of Obesity, Japanese Society of Clinical Nutrition, and Japan Epidemiological Association. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers in medical and nutritional journals.
